About the Role
We are looking for a Product Designer who can turn complex automation concepts into simple, beautiful interfaces. ShadowPhone's desktop app is a power tool for operators, and your job is to make that power accessible without sacrificing capability.
What You Will Do
- Design end-to-end user experiences for the ShadowPhone desktop and web platforms
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Design and maintain our component library and design system
- Conduct user research and usability testing with real operators
- Collaborate with engineering to implement designs pixel-perfectly
- Define design patterns for complex features like workflow builders and analytics dashboards
Requirements
- 4+ years of product design experience, preferably in SaaS or developer tools
- Expert proficiency with Figma
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex UI/UX design
- Experience designing dark-themed interfaces and data-heavy dashboards
- Understanding of front-end development capabilities and constraints
- Excellent visual design skills with strong attention to typography and spacing
Nice to Have
- Experience with desktop app design (Electron)
- Knowledge of automation or workflow tools
- Experience designing for power users / prosumer audiences
- Basic front-end coding skills (HTML/CSS/React)
- Motion design and micro-interaction skills
