Adding Instagram Accounts

Go to the Accounts tab, choose the intended connected phone and profile, and complete authentication through the installed Instagram app. A real-device login can still receive security prompts or restrictions.

Maintain a documented account-to-phone-and-profile map so operators can understand device changes and troubleshoot sessions. Pairing does not guarantee that Instagram will not issue a security prompt or restriction.

ShadowPhone supports accounts with 2FA enabled. When adding an account with 2FA, you will be prompted to enter the verification code. We recommend using an authenticator app rather than SMS for reliability.

The number of accounts you can add depends on your subscription plan. Starter includes up to 25 Instagram accounts, Growth includes up to 75, and Agency includes up to 500. Each account must be paired with a device or profile. Use the pricing page as the canonical source for current plan limits.

Your credentials are encrypted and stored securely. ShadowPhone never stores plain-text passwords. Sessions are maintained on the phone itself, so your account stays logged in just like a normal phone user.
