Adding Instagram Accounts

Go to the Accounts tab and click 'Add Account'. Enter the Instagram username and password. ShadowPhone will log in through the Instagram app on a connected phone, making the login appear as a normal phone login.

Each account should be paired with a specific phone (or GrapheneOS profile). This keeps the device fingerprint consistent and prevents Instagram from flagging the account for logging in from different devices.

ShadowPhone supports accounts with 2FA enabled. When adding an account with 2FA, you will be prompted to enter the verification code. We recommend using an authenticator app rather than SMS for reliability.

The number of accounts you can add depends on your subscription plan. Starter supports up to 3, Growth up to 10, and Agency up to 25. Each account must be paired with a device or profile.

Your credentials are encrypted and stored securely. ShadowPhone never stores plain-text passwords. Sessions are maintained on the phone itself, so your account stays logged in just like a normal phone user.
