WiFi Connection Setup

ADB supports wireless connections over WiFi. While USB is more reliable, WiFi can be convenient for setups where cable management is difficult. Note: you still need USB for the initial pairing.

Connect the phone via USB first, then in ShadowPhone Desktop go to Phones > select your device > 'Enable WiFi ADB'. The app will configure the phone to accept wireless connections and store the pairing information.

Once paired, disconnect the USB cable. The phone should remain visible in ShadowPhone with a WiFi icon. If it disconnects, you may need to re-pair via USB.

WiFi connections can be less stable than USB, especially on congested networks. We recommend USB for production automation and WiFi only for testing or monitoring. Keep phones and computer on the same subnet.
