Supported Phone Models

The Pixel 6 is our top recommendation. It offers excellent GrapheneOS support, allowing you to create multiple isolated profiles on a single device. Combined with reliable USB connectivity and strong hardware, it is the best phone for automation.

Other Pixel models in the 6 and 7 series work great. The 'a' variants offer the same software capabilities at a lower price point, making them ideal for building larger phone farms on a budget.

Samsung Galaxy A13, A23, A33, and A53 all work well with ShadowPhone. They do not support GrapheneOS profiles but offer good value for single-account-per-phone setups.

OnePlus Nord CE and Nord N series phones are compatible and offer good performance at a low price. They run stock-like Android which pairs well with ADB automation.

Any Android phone running Android 7.0 or higher with USB debugging support will work with ShadowPhone. However, for the best experience and multi-profile support, we strongly recommend Pixel devices with GrapheneOS.

Avoid Huawei devices (no Google Play Services), very old phones (slow and unreliable), and tablets (Instagram behaves differently on tablets). Also avoid devices with locked bootloaders if you plan to use GrapheneOS.
