Supported Phone Models
Current hardware guidance for ShadowPhone's supported Pixel and GrapheneOS workflow.
Recommended Hardware
Use a Pixel model currently supported by GrapheneOS. For a new deployment, prefer the Pixel 8 generation or newer and verify the exact device on GrapheneOS's live supported-devices page before purchase.
Older Pixel Fleets
Pixel 6- and 7-generation devices have shorter remaining support horizons than Pixel 8-generation or newer hardware. Treat support life as part of total cost and plan migrations before official support ends.
Other Android Brands
The current supported ShadowPhone multi-profile workflow requires GrapheneOS on a supported Pixel. Do not buy Samsung, OnePlus, or generic Android hardware based on older compatibility claims.
Minimum Requirements
Use Windows 10 or later and a supported, unlockable Pixel running a current GrapheneOS release with USB debugging enabled. Follow current support documentation rather than an Android-version-only rule.
Before Buying
Confirm GrapheneOS support, bootloader-unlock eligibility, carrier status, USB-C data, battery health, thermal behavior, factory-reset protection, return terms, and remaining support life.
