Automation Best Practices

Proven strategies and tips for running safe, effective Instagram automation at scale.

One Account Per Profile

Never run multiple Instagram accounts on the same device profile. Use GrapheneOS profiles to isolate accounts. Each account should have its own consistent device fingerprint.

Post Real Content

Accounts that only engage but never post are suspicious. Maintain a regular posting schedule alongside your automation. Quality content also improves your organic reach.

Mix Action Types

Do not just run the Follow module all day. Mix likes, comments, story views, profile visits, and passive browsing. Real users do a variety of things on Instagram.

Monitor and Adapt

Check your Account Health dashboard daily. If you see Trust Scores dropping, reduce activity. If accounts are thriving, you can cautiously increase limits.

Keep Software Updated

Always run the latest version of ShadowPhone. Updates include anti-detection improvements, bug fixes, and performance optimizations. Enable auto-updates in Settings.

Have a Recovery Plan

Know what to do if an account gets blocked: stop automation, wait, use manually, then gradually reintroduce automation. ShadowPhone's Recovery Mode guides you through this process.
